An employee at the Assumption Church’s annual SeptemberFest Carnival is facing charges after an altercation involving a group of teens. According to Fairfield police, Amanda Lynn Stewart suspected the teens were attempting to steal items from a game trailer. They say she forcibly detained one teen by grabbing the back of his jacket and dragging him to a nearby officer. Witnesses described the altercation to police as “rough” and said that Stewart appeared to grab the teen by his neck. The juveniles involved stated that they were behind the trailer, but did not enter or take any items. Stewart, 35, was charged with breach of peace. "
