Pittsburgh Police say a UPS driver was assaulted while delivering a package over the weekend.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday on the 1900 block of Dartmore Street in Carrick.

The victim told police he saw a man driving a blue Honda sedan over the speed limit and yelled to the driver to slow down.

The UPS driver says the man got out of the car and attacked him in a driveway.

The incident continued on the street. Witnesses say the man began to “reach into his vehicle.”

The victim shut the attacker’s door and the accused drove away.

The victim refused medical treatment for a nose injury and told police his supervisor would take him to a medical facility.

No suspect has been identified. An investigation continues.

No enforcement of drug crimes and pretending it’s Upper St. Carrick that Brownsville road is called the heroin highway. Officials pretend there is no problem while letting the problem destroy a community. Creeping into all communities surrounding Pittsburgh. Policy has to change to get them help needed.

There's not a day that goes by that Carrick and that end of Brownsville rd doesn't make the news. They need to make a much bigger police presence up there and start making people do time for crimes. Crime won't slow down if you keep letting them get away with it
