Riley Green Brings Clint Black’s Daughter, Lily, Onstage To Perform Her Parents’ 1999 Hit, “When I Said I Do”

A timeless love song. Over the weekend, Riley Green played the Music City Grand Prix in Nashville, where he invited a special guest onstage to sing a 90's classic with him. Lily Pearl Black, daughter of 90's (and late 80's) country star Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, joined Riley to perform her parents' classic "When I Said I Do." Of course, the song was included on Black's 1999 D'lectrified album, and released as the lead single. It features guest vocals from Black's aforementioned wife, Lisa, and peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, in addition to making it to #31 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and becoming a crossover hit. Riley introduced Lily to the crowd, accidentally calling her Lisa at first, but of course, he had a smooth save, saying: "Since we're playing love songs, I'm gonna get a very talented, lovely young lady, Miss Lisa Black to come out here... Lily Black come out here and help me sing a little bit. Sorry, I got nervous, I saw your outfit. Earlier you didn't have that on, caught me off guard. Miss Lily black has become a real good friend of mine here recently, and Mrs. Lisa Hartman Black and Mr. Clint Black are her mom and dad, so y'all may be familiar with them as well. I don't know why we're gonna try this, but one of my favorite love songs, one of the best love songs ever written, we're gonna try a little bit of it." Lily also stayed to help him sing his hit with Ella Langley "You Look Like You Love Me," and of course Clint and Lisa were side stage watching their daughter for the special performance.
