Could ex-Browns RB Kareem Hunt reunite with the Kansas City Chiefs?

Cleveland Browns fans hoping that the team will re-sign free agent running back Kareem Hunt may be forced to recognize that another team could be interested in Hunt.

Hunt's career began with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017 when he went to the Pro Bowl and was the NFL rushing yards leader.  His off-the-field issues prompted the Chiefs to release him in 2018.  Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt made his feelings clear that this was the end of the road for Hunt with the Chiefs because of his off-the-field conduct.

The Browns signed him in 2019. He played for his hometown team until 2023.

With Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco likely headed to injured reserve for a broken fibula, fans wonder if the Chiefs will reunite with Hunt.

Some believe the bridge is sufficiently burned between the two parties, but others think enough time has passed for the Chiefs to invite him in for a workout.  He may not be quite the powerhouse he was seven years ago, but he could still contribute to a team whose offense he is familiar with.  He can pick up the nuances that have changed rather quickly.

Do you think the Chiefs will call Kareem Hunt?
