Protein Bar & Kitchen, a better-for-you fast casual restaurant, is expanding its presence in airports across the U.S., offering travelers healthier dining options. The brand is now operating in Salt Lake City International, Chicago O’Hare, and New York LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal C, with plans to open in Boise Airport by 2025. With a focus on protein-packed meals, Protein Bar & Kitchen meets the growing demand for nutritious, convenient food options while traveling.

The restaurant offers over 15 protein options, catering to diverse dietary preferences, and has been recognized for its innovation in the fast casual dining space. Its O’Hare location, which opened in August 2023, is currently the top-performing restaurant in the group, exceeding sales projections. LaGuardia’s location opened in September, adding espresso and smoothie options to the menu.

As Protein Bar & Kitchen continues to grow, it’s attracting interest from entrepreneurs in the quick-service restaurant industry, where franchise opportunities are increasing. CEO Jeff Drake emphasized the importance of offering healthy, protein-rich meals for travelers, aligning with the brand's mission to support an active lifestyle. The company’s streamlined kitchen model and focus on flexibility make it a strong contender in the airport dining space.
