Ready to catch the big one?

Newton County Parks and Recreation is hosting a Kids Fishing Derby at City Pond Park in Covington on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 8am-11:45am.

This FREE community event is for kids ages 8-15.

Bring your own rod and reel and your favorite bait and see if you're the lucky one who catches the biggest fish! Supplies will also be on hand to use while supplies last.

A 1st Place prize will be given out for the biggest catch of the day. There will also be door prizes and tons of fun to be had.
