Georgia Bulldogs' junior edge Jalon Walker was one of the standouts from Week 3's 13-12 win over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Walker finished the game with two tackles and one deflected pass, which was much-needed in the fourth quarter to keep Brock Vandagriff and the Wildcats from finishing a comeback drive.

Walker also had a penalty, which should have been logged as a clean sack.

With lead pass rush Mykel Williams sidelined due to an injury, Walker's efforts didn't go unnoticed, and he even received a shout-out from Dallas Cowboys star and fellow edge, Micah Parsons.

"Number 11 for Georgia," Parsons wrote on X/Twitter with three first emojis during the game on Saturday night.

It was a full-circle moment for Walker, who admitted this offseason that he somewhat models his game after Parsons -- the same NFL player that he's been compared to.

"Micah Parsons is just poppin'," Walker said on an episode with The Players' Lounge ."I'll walk across the field and everybody's like, 'Oh there's Micah Parsons.' I'm not Micah Parsons. But I like his game. I like how he plays. I feel like we have the same type of characteristics where he plays inside linebacker, I player inside backer. Versatile. It's pretty cool watching him but really, I really just try to get better every day."

Through three games this season, Walker has totaled 11 tackles and 1.5 sacks and he has already earned the nod of approval form Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.

“He’s playing really hard,” Smart said of Walker after the game. “He is a natural-born leader, and he’s affecting people on the sideline with positive energy and loves the game. So, you know, the kid is just a remarkable kid.”
