There are so many great things happening at Fernbank Museum this September -- you're not going to want to miss out.

Forest Forms
Forest Forms is comprised of 18 larger-than-life metal sculptures placed along the nature trails in WildWoods. Sculptures range from 5 to 20 feet tall and include creatures like a fox family, flowers, rabbits, a snake archway, a peacock and more. This awesome exhibit will be closing on September 29, so see it before it goes!

Golden Opportunity: Botanical Illustration
Showcasing both the art and science found in yellow plants, Golden Opportunity: Botanical Illustration features pieces of art and display cases highlighting the plant materials used in creating dyes. This exhibit opened recently and is open daily in September. It can be found on the 3rd floor.

Fernbank After Dark: Night at the Science Fair
Science fairs were never this entertaining in school! Fernbank After Dark features after-hours access to Fernbank’s exhibits, as well as live music. Tapas and cocktails are available for additional purchase. Must be 21+ for this one. Night at the Science Fair will be held Friday, September 13 from 7pm-11pm. Tickets HERE.

Fernbank...but Later: Stellar Science
Set your phasers to fun for an out-of-this-world evening! Join Fernbank for an evening of action-packed science experiments, visit exhibits, and more at Fernbank… but Later’s Stellar Science. All ages are welcome, but if you are 21+, they will have adult beverages for purchase. This event will be held Friday, September 27 from 6pm-9pm. Tickets HERE.

Fernbank Forestry Day
Climb into the world of working forests at Fernbank Forestry Day, where you’ll explore the relationship between humans and forests through demonstrations and hands-on activities, featuring an appearance by Smokey Bear. This will be held Saturday, September 21 from 10am-1pm and is included with Fernbank admission.

SWAPtember Sale
This September, 22 metro-Atlanta attractions have teamed up to offer the community the chance to experience all the city has to offer. When Fernbank members show their membership card to any participating attractions during September, they can receive $10 off of a membership purchase there. This is happening all month long. Places like Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, Center for Puppetry Arts, and Chattahoochee Nature Center are participating. You can find the complete list HERE.

Cities of the Future and T. Rex 3D Films Playing Daily
An IMAX film screening is included with your Fernbank admission, and they have two great choices this month. Cities of the Future is a family-friendly film that offers an inspiring vision of how we will live in 50 years. T. Rex 3D lets you travel across the world on a scientific expedition and have a roaring-good time learning why the T. rex is still the G.O.A.T.: the Greatest Of All Tyrants.
