Both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers won their week two matchups . Of course, we learned after week one that not all wins are treated equal. Squeaking out victory vs the the 0-2 Indianapolis Colts, when your backup quarterback throws just 14 times, doesn’t exactly instill confidence.

Packers vs Colts on Sunday was, arguably, the ugliest game of the weekend. Anthony Richardson finished 17 of 34 (50%) and threw three interceptions, to just one touchdown. The score finished 16-10 . With Jordan Love out, the Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur was determined to keep the ball on the ground.

Green Bay Packers Center Josh Myers pukes on the football… twice

But maybe that’s because Willis refused to throw the ball anymore after his center, Josh Myers, snapped him a football with vomit all over it. Who’s vomit? Myers’. During the 2nd quarter, Myers hunched over into his stance, and puked on the football… before snapping it to his QB a second later.

Willis then turned and handed the ball off to Jacobs. Gross. One play later, the Green Bay Packers center hunched over again, and barfed on the football for a second straight snap. This time, it was a pass play. Yikes.

On the replay, when Willis drops back to pass… you can see him take his right hand off the football, wipe it on his right pant leg, and then try to recover, before he tucks the ball and takes off. I don’t know if I should be impressed, grossed out.. or both.

As mentioned, QB2 Malik Willis threw the ball only 14 times . Maybe that’s because the Packers were being conservative. Or, maybe it was because he was scarred after trying to throw a puke ball. Luckily for him, he had Josh Jacobs behind him, who ran 32 times for 151 yards.

    Matt LaFleur addresses puking incident

After the game, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur addressed Ryan’s puking episode. Apparently, they took him out of the game, after a ref notified him of the center’s upset tummy.

Minnesota Vikings vs Packers coming up fast…

In just two weeks time, the Minnesota Vikings will be in Green Bay, to play their first division game of the season, before flying to London for a week five game against the New York Jets. Hopefully Josh Myers is feeling much better by then.

Most likely, this didn’t even make newsreels in Packer land. Vomit is nothing new to that fanbase. Hell, they wear it for a color. But this is one of the craziest thing this non-Packers football fan has ever seen. So anyway, what’s for supper?
