WWE Week is over and now it's time to fully dive into the storylines ahead of the next PLE, Bad Blood. With three more episodes of Monday Night RAW between now and the Atlanta production on October 5, there's plenty of work to do to establish things for members of the Red Brand.

Heavyweight champion Gunther is without an opponent , but things have been spinning up with Sami Zayn who gave the title holder a beatdown last week in defense of Hall of Famer Bret Hart. Could this episode be when the Canadian-German rivalry becomes official?

One known match is that of CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre, and the former is back from his hospital visit after the latter busted his face open and force-fed him bracelet beads a couple of weeks ago. Is the Wyatt 6 going to be a part of things? Are they even staying on RAW for the long-term? There next appearance after taking out American Made in eight-person tag action last week should offer clues.

Here are all of the details to be aware of before the action kicks off.

    Date : Monday, September 16, 2024
    Time : 8 pm ET
    Location : Portland, OR
    Broadcast : USA Network

    Match Results

    CM Punk Promo

The show leads off with Punk walking into the arena and grabbing the mic. Unlike his previous run, he's not super giddy as he has been in recent openings and starts talking about having a ton of matches left in him. Punk calls Drew McIntyre a mortal enemy and references the Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood and how he feels naive in thinking the Bash in Berlin win was ending the rivalry. "I'm just too damn stubborn," he says after referencing being hospitalized again.

The question is "How many Hell in a Cell matches do you have left in you? The answer is zero," but he's going to explain why he will do this. "Drew McIntyre I can't promise I won't kill you... here is my promise. I'm gonna make you bleed. And I promise that you're gonna have to kill me because I'm prepared to die... I'll see you in hell"

    Sheamus vs Pete Dunne

After a couple joints between the two, Sheamus escapes and slams Dunne onto the announcer's table before a commercial. He tried to land a White Noise but Dunne escapes and slams him before pouncing. 17 Beats of Bodhran. Dunne tries to get Sheamus with the Shelale but is stopped. Sheamus is about to attack back with it, but the ref stops him and Dunne grabs a cricket bat and catches him with it. A big boot to the face and a win for Butch.

    Dunne wins by pinfall.

    Natalya vs Zoey Stark

Stark nails a springboard drop kick before the commercial break, but Natalya blocks it coming out of it. To be honest this match was disjointed ad thankfully ended quickly with alternating roll-ups and a Natalya victory.

    Natalya wins by pinfall.

Jey Uso / Bron Breakker Promo

The two will meet next week on Raw for the Intercontinental Championship in a matchup of wrestling royalty. Breakker calls Uso out for being a 14-year vet and having no singles belts and needing his family to thrive. Uso tells him he's been winnig championships since Breakker was in diapers. "Next week I'm gonna dog walk you... and this reign might be short and sweet just like your NFL career. Yeet"

Breakker sucker punches Uso and gets in motion for the the spear, but Uso hits the champ with his own.

New Day vs JD McDonagh + Finn Balor (Judgment Day) for World Tag-Team Championship

Match opens with a ton of synced offense from Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. A phenomenal exchange after the commercial break with Xavier landing a power bomb but no pin. Judgement Day comes out and LWO comes out to stop them. Kingston flies out the ring to topple everyone and the ref leaves the ring to sort things out. Woods has a clear pinfall but no ref. Woods has to go get the ref and when they're back in the ring, McDonagh locks up Woods and allows Balor to land a Coup De Gras. Game over.

    Judgement Day wins by pinfall.

After the match Woods is irate with Kingston for leaving him alone and declares "somethings gotta change."

Following the break, the two seem on the brink of breaking up.

Big Bronson Reed vs Braun Strowman

Big Boy Wrestling! Right off the bat this is different as Reed crashes into the corner and breaks the turnbuckle and ropes loose. Choke Slam by Strowman. Strowman tries a Freight Train, but Reed takes someone from the crowd in a Yeet shirt and javelin tossed him at the charging Strowman. Strowman cross-bodies Reed through the barrier and the two collapse in a heap.

Reed is heading to the locker room with Strowman in the ring, but Strowman flies down and truck sticks Reed through mounds of equipment as the fight hits the backstage. Strowman throws Reed into the wall and then flips a golf cart. Reed catches Strowman with a Tsunami into tables. Strowman rushes ad plows through the drywall.

    No Match

    Sami Zayn Promo

Zayn proclaims he's in line for the championship and that Gunther is scared of the reality that Zayn beat him before. Ludwig Kaiser interrupts to tell Zayn Wrestlemania was the highlight of his career. Zayn tells Kaiser that Gunther doesn't need him for anything, but Kaiser doesn't need Gunther either; that he wants to prove himself either. Does he think he's gonna win respect being Gunther's stooge. "At least have the balls to speak for yourself."

Cue the music. Gunther to the ring and conronts Kaiser, "Is there anything you need to tell me?"

"There's something I've wanted to get off my chest for a very long time." But he attacks Zayn, holds his head for Gunther to refuse the match yet again. With Gunther out the ring, Zayn reverses a move, slams Kaiser and hits him with a Haloma kick.

    Bianca Belair vs Iyo Sky

Belair returns to singles action with her tag partner Jade Cargill ringside, taking on Damage Ctrl's Sky with Kairi Sane. A missle dropkick from Sky is the best move. Sky lands a flying cross body through the ropes and through Belair out on the floor. But Belair catches Sky trying to suplex her and reverses it carries up the sairs in a vertical suplex and throws her into the ring. Belair tries to 450 but Sky gets her knees up. Belair get a KOD but Sky slips up and hooks arm and leg in a small package for the upset.

    Sky wins by pinfall.

    Damian Priest vs Dominik Mysterio

This rivalry continues and surprise, surprise, the Judgment Day interferes.

Priest wins by pinfall. Judgment Day jumps Priest and Ripley, but this wek's twist is when Jey Uso comes out to help, he's speared by Bron Breakker. JD goes to work on Priest's leg and pose as the show closes.
