One dead, service road closed after Richardson police chase, officials say

There's a developing situation Monday evening out of Richardson, north of Dallas on 75 near Midpark.

Police officials reported that one person is dead after a police chase and an apparent shooting scene were happening along the Dallas-Richardson area. The chase also caused the High Five exchange to close down. 75 is experiencing high traffic at this time due to these events.

Our media partner, NBC5 caught the police chase live. From their live video, we can see a Richardson police SUV with a flat tire and several people getting into an ambulance.

This is a very active scene, and it's creating a big traffic mess as well.
