Falcons WR Ray-Ray McCloud Arrives in Controversial Outfit Before MNF

The Atlanta Falcons (0-1) arrived at Lincoln Financial Field ahead of their Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III showed up in Philadelphia in style, though his outfit for the MNF game was not what many would have expected for the Atlanta starter.

Just hours before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, McCloud III was spotted getting off the team bus donning a throwback Randall Cunningham Eagles jersey.

Fans' reactions have ranged from angry to confused, with some taking it as far as lobbying for the Falcons to cut the 27-year-old Clemson alum. Some were simply baffled by the pregame look.

McCloud III was wearing the oversized Cunningham jersey, large black boots and baggy black pants, drawing comparisons to eccentric rapper Playboi Carti and the Cartoon Network hit Ed, Edd n Eddy.

McCloud III is a former sixth-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills. Since entering the NFL, McCloud has played for five different teams and led the league in punt return yards in 2021.

In Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, McCloud III caught four passes for 52 yards in the Falcons' 18-10 loss.

McCloud III has only recorded one receiving touchdown in his seven-year NFL career, coming in 2022 with the San Francisco 49ers.
