Spooky Season is upon us, and there's no better welcoming than seeing pets all decked out and ready for their moment. Teddy the Ragdoll cat is more than ready for Halloween because his special pet costume is sure to frighten all who cross his path!

A September 13, 2024 TikTok video shared by @freyathesiberian reveals the kitty's darling wardrobe for the haunting of a lifetime and it's "purrfect!" Take a look!

"What do you think of Teddy’s Halloween costume?" the caption asks as the feline skips off to put on his garb for the internet.

"Okay, get ready to be scared," the video says. "I'm a monster."

Dressed in a neon green shaggy monster outfit, his little face peeks through, letting his gorgeous eyes shine just below the costume's giant white eyeballs and horns. Arms hang free at each side, and the cloth feet are propped directly above Teddy's paws. It's too cute!

With more than 80k likes and hundreds of supportive comments, Teddy's costume is a major hit.

"Omg, so scary! Well done buddy," one person said. "It goes well with his eyes," another wrote. "I can’t breathe I’m so scared but it’s adorable," another added.

When it comes to Halloween and dressing to impress, Teddy understood the assignment!

Choosing a Costume for Your Fur Baby

Seeing pets dressed up in cute or spooky outfits is fun, but the Animal Humane Society says to keep a few things in mind to keep your costumed pet safe and happy.

The costume should be comfortable in a safe way , and they should be able to move their arms and legs without restriction. Be sure the fabric is made from non-toxic materials and that it's free from choking hazards like beads or sequence.

If there's a mask or shoes, consider skipping those, as they could make your pet uncomfortable. It helps to practice putting the costume on them before the big day so they can get used to the feeling and the way they have to move while in it.

On the day of the event, watch for signs of stress and supervise them at all times—especially if there are other costumed pets around.

Most of all, if they're not into it or not having fun, don't force it! There are other ways to celebrate spooky season without a costume. And anyway, if Teddy's going to be there in his monster outfit, all eyes will be on him, so don't stress!
