In fact, fans recently declared Jason an "American icon" after he showed off high-energy dance moves ahead of his new gig.

On Monday, Sept. 16, the New Heights X (formerly Twitter) account shared a clip of Jason busting moves at a Philadelphia Eagles tailgate party before his duties as an analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Countdown .

The retired NFL player wore a green tracksuit with a white undershirt and white sneakers while enthusiastically dancing on a stage.

In the comments, fans went wild for the 36-year-old's moves. One X user wrote, "I love how we went from the hip thrust to stomp & running man. But boy, he got the beat down."

"Living his best life. Dance on brother," another shared, while someone else commented, "this is my hope for retirement."

Meanwhile, yet another fan pointed out, "That man has so much fun and it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks."
