Savannah James Makes Revealing Statement About Her Relationship With LeBron James

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his wife Savannah celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary just three days ago (September 13). But they have been together since their high school days in Akron, Ohio.

They are among the rare NBA power couples that have stood the test of time. Their secret is that they have managed to keep their relationship private.

However, in one of the rare moments Savannah James spoke her mind about her relationship with the Lakers superstar, she made an interesting admission about the possibility of a breakup with her husband if he had been drafted by another team in 2003.

“Obviously, LeBron got drafted to Cleveland when we [were] younger, and I’m from Akron — I’m from 30 minutes down the road — but I don’t know,” she said on her podcast "Everybody Crazy" on September 10 . “If I had to ask him, if he was sittin’ here…I think that he would say the same in like, ‘I don’t know what would have happened.’ So, thanks Cleveland Cavaliers."

In the 2003 NBA draft, the Cavaliers were tied with the Denver Nuggets with 22.5% odds of landing the No. 1 pick. The ping pong balls went the Cavaliers way, keeping James, the consensus No. 1 prospect that year, in Cleveland.
