A week after Jason Kelce’s use of the word “tits” on Monday Night Countdown caused a buzz, that word unexpectedly took a featured role in Monday night’s show.

In his Countdown debut on Sept. 9, Kelce wore an ill-fitting shirt that he joked fit his belly but “ my tits are still struggling .” That left many people shaking their heads in amusement, given those were literally his first words in his regular season ESPN debut.

Kelce’s wife, Kylie, wasn’t so amused. She posted on social media she’d be watching Jason, but “Maybe try not to say tits this week.”

Unfortunately for her, Kelce did say tits again. Host Scott Van Pelt kind of baited him.

“I was going to ask for a tit check, how we feeling, better?” Van Pelt asked.

“Tits are much better today, much better,” Kelce replied.

Ryan Clark then revealed that a couple of fans approached him recently, and one fan said to the other, “That’s Ryan, he was on stage when Jason said, ‘tits.'”

Van Pelt interrupted to wonder if the show had reached its quota of “tits” references.

“I think we’re allowed one per block,” he said.

The Athletic ‘s Andrew Marchand reported ESPN tried to “bleep Ryan Clark saying t-word again but it missed it.”

It’s a good bet that’s not the last time we hear that word this year on Countdown .
