    Roadwork Continues on I-15 in Hesperia Monday Night – Saturday Morning

    HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue work on a $122 million project to rehabilitate and repave traffic lanes and ramps and upgrade the drainage systems in Hesperia to Victorville in the center divider/right shoulders on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County. This project will not add a extra lane to the freeway or for a high speed train.

    As of the end of August the project is 84% completion and still on track.

    CONTINUING THIS WEEK 10-DAY CLOSURE OF SOUTHBOUND I-15 JOSHUA ST. OFF-RAMP from morning of September 10 through September 20. Drivers must take alternate routes. Please follow indicated signage posted ahead of closure locations.

    Hours of operation: Monday night – Saturday Morning.

    Northbound I-15 from Oak Hill Rd to Bear Valley Rd – 9pm to 7am.**

    • Alternating lane closures, possibly bringing lanes down to one at times.

    • *All on / off ramps are subject to intermittent closures for crew safety and related roadwork.

    • Connector closures may take place: NB/SB I-15 to NB/SB Hwy 395 during operations. Watch for signage.

    • NB Ranchero Road, Hwy 395, and Main Street off ramps may be closed: Oversized loads must use lanes 1 and 2.

    Southbound I-15 from before Bear Valley Rd to Ranchero Rd – 7pm. – 5am**.

    • Alternating lane closures, possibly bringing lanes down to one.

    • *All on / off ramps are subject to intermittent closures for crew safety and related roadwork. Main Street and Joshua St may be closed.

    • Connector closures may take place: NB/SB I-15 to NB/SB US 395 during operations. Watch for signage.

    **Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.

    The project is expected to be complete in Spring 2025.
