    Eureka, CA – Northern California is bracing for another round of showers as a weather system moves across the region. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Eureka reports that areas in Del Norte and Humboldt counties will see the heaviest rainfall, with amounts ranging from 0.30 to 0.50 inches through Wednesday. Lighter showers are expected in southern Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino, and Lake counties.

    Showers will taper off by Wednesday afternoon, followed by a drying and warming trend later in the week. Gusty winds reaching 35 mph are also expected along the coastal headlands in Humboldt and Del Norte counties, the NWS stated.
