Rainy Weather Expected in Western Washington Starting Tuesday

Western Washington is set to experience a shift in weather, with rain showers moving in by Tuesday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service in Seattle, after a mostly clear and mild Monday, an approaching upper-level trough and associated front will bring light rain across the region.

The rain is expected to hit coastal areas by Tuesday morning before spreading inland. While the front may weaken as it moves through, cloud cover and light showers will persist, especially into Tuesday night, with lows in the 50s. Showers will linger into Wednesday before tapering off, leading to drier conditions on Thursday.
