Howard Stern recently talked about the Jane’s Addiction fight , and how sad he was about it. He then revealed that the band gave him a new song to premiere called “True Love” and played a snippet of it, but he didn’t debut the full song as originally planned, and canceled the full premiere. This is more unfortunate news for Jane’s Addiction.

A video clip is already available on YouTube where Jane’s Addiction had performed the song in Bakersfield last year.

Jane’s Addiction made their much-anticipated return with new music for fans. During their show in Bakersfield, CA, the band debuted their new song “True Love.” It marks the band’s first new song in 10 years, following their 2011 album The Great Escape Artist . “We want to give you something very special,” said leading man Perry Farrell to the crowd. Check out the new song below.

Previously, Farrell had joined The Smashing Pumpkins for a performance of the Jane Addiction classic “Jane Says” on The Howard Stern Show.

Recently, Jane’s Addiction fans at the concert in Boston last Friday witnessed a shocking altercation between lead vocalist Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro . The incident took a dramatic turn when Farrell appeared to purposely tackle Navarro on stage, leading to a heated confrontation that left both the audience and band members shocked. Footage captured by fans shows that Farrell, in the middle of his meltdown, attempted to use his microphone as a weapon against his bandmates.

The tension between Farrell and Navarro reportedly escalated after Farrell got in Navarro’s face and began hurling insults at him. A confused Navarro could be seen asking what was going on, but before anyone could intervene, Farrell lunged at him. The situation intensified as Farrell started swinging punches, though it’s unclear if any landed on Navarro.

At that moment, bassist Eric Avery and a roadie intervened, trying to restrain Farrell. While being held back, Farrell continued to lash out, possibly striking Avery in the chaos. Fan-captured footage then shows Farrell attempting to use his microphone as a weapon, swinging it aggressively toward his bandmates. The road crew was forced to drag Farrell off the stage as the audience watched in disbelief.
