Everyone's Saying The Same Thing About Nick Sirianni After Eagles-Falcons Game

The Philadelphia Eagles picked up their first loss of the season after falling to the Atlanta Falcons, 22-21 on "Monday Night Football."

Philadelphia seemed to have the game sealed late in the fourth quarter, but a dropped pass from Saquon Barkley and a couple of mismanaged plays on the defensive end led to a game-winning drive from Atlanta.

Following the game, Eagles fans, who came into the season with Super Bowl title hopes, called for the firing of their head coach, Nick Sirianni.

Given the Eagles' 1-1 record, fans believe they've seen enough from the fourth-year Eagles coach.

While this may be a long shot since the season just started, hundreds of fans believe Sirianni needs to be fired in order for Philadelphia's season to be saved.

"Fire Sirianni now!!!" said one fan.

"FIRE NICK SIRIANNI ASAP!!!!" said one fan.

"Fire Sirianni. Theres still time to save the season." mentioned one fan.

"Fire Sirianni.... Too many poor decisions that have lead to unnecessary losses for this team. It's time." commented one fan.

"I would take this opportunity to fire Nick Sirianni, even if it made me look bad." said one fan.

"FIRE SIRIANNI, tired of this bum!!!" said another fan.

Sirianni originally arrived in Philadelphia prior to the 2021 NFL season. He's led the Eagles to the playoffs in every season he's been with the organization, but hasn't had consistent success in those postseason appearances.

In 2021, the Eagles fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-15 in the Wild Card.

Sirianni then led Philadelphia to the Super Bowl in 2022. They fell in the hands of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35.

Last season, Sirianni and the Eagles lost to the Buccaneers yet again, 32-9 in the Wild Card.

NFL fans may be losing patience with Sirianni, but the Eagles have had one of the best offenses in the league throughout the past few years which has consistently put them in position to compete for a Super Bowl.

During the 2022 season, Philadelphia had the No. 3 offense in terms of points per game and yards per game. In 2023, they had the No. 7 offense in points and No. 8 in yards.

Heading into their matchup against the Falcons, the Eagles had the No. 3 offense in points and yards in 2024.

Sirianni and the Eagles will have a chance to bounce back from their Week 2 loss on Sept. 22 when they take on the New Orleans Saints.

The defense isn't good enough to win a SB. They have more holes than Swiss cheese.
