Eagles Losing Night: A.J. Brown Out, Falcons Win, Jason Kelce Injures Fan

The Philadelphia Eagles scores an odd hat-trick as they returned to Lincoln Financial Field in Week 2's "Monday Night Football'' matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Ultimately, they lost the game in stunning last-second fashion to the underdog Falcons, ......

Additionally, during the game, it was revealed that star receiver A.J. Brown's hamstring issue might keep him out for a "few weeks,'' a blow to this Jalen Hurts-led offense that of course can use every weapon possible.

And before the game? The just-retired Jason Kelce, now a part of the "MNF'' crew, did his pregame thing by hanging out with Philly fans in the parking lot, tailgating with Eagles faithful while wearing a green velour jump suit ...

And dancing. And partying. And being Kelce.

One problem: The big man thought it appropriate to perform a "jumping chest bump'' with one lucky fan. You know the move: Two extremely fit and athletic NFL players - wide receivers, say - celebrate by elevating themselves and then bumping into one another while airborne.

Kelce is not really built for that move. And an Eagles fan named Ron Dunphy is, like most of the rest of us, surely not, either.

Following the chest bump, Kelce went off on his merry way. Meanwhile, Dunphy did not; he seems to be in pain, and he later confirmed on social media that he had injured his knee. In our litigious world, we're left to wonder what sort of problems might now ensue as a result of the injury. But Dunphy isn't rolling that way.

"So worth it," he wrote of the collision-caused injury.

Kelce thought it was cute to talk about drinking beer. We certainly select our commentators thoughtfully!

He chose to be a big man and not Kelce fault. Can't play with the big dogs go play with the puppies.
