Around 37 per cent of homeowners typically embark on home improvement projects in the autumn.

These projects often include interior updates, such as painting, flooring, and upgrading heating systems, as well as exterior maintenance, like gutter cleaning and roof repairs.

The good news? You don't have to break the bank to do it.

And one DIY fan, who is known as @homenumber_3 on TikTok, has done exactly this.

She took to her social media page to reveal how she managed to transform her house by using bargain decorative items and cheap hacks.

In one video she showed off her white doors, with black handles, that she bought from B&Q for just £38.

    She said: “Cheap but classy.”

And in another video she showed off a white wardrobe from budget retail store The Range.

She showed how she transformed her bedroom with the Lara Wardrobe, featuring a sleek, contoured door front that adds a modern flair.

This wardrobe is not only stylish but also practical, offering easy assembly and hassle-free cleaning for your convenience.

Inside, it boasts generous storage options, including a hanging rail, an integrated shelf, and two drawers, perfect for organising your clothes and accessories.

The elegant white finish ensures it effortlessly complements your current furniture and decor, making it a versatile choice for any room.

Many commented on how “fab” her interiors were, whilst others complimented “how lovely” her place was.

Another added: “I’ve had my doors for 13 years where they only cost me £17, also I didn't need a carpenter to hang them either and I’m a petite person, we don’t need expensive doors.”
