Bachelorette Jenn Tran is ‘so scared’ to perform live on DWTS as she ‘doesn’t know how to dance’ & suffers stage fright

Bachelorette Jenn Tran has admitted she is terrified of performing live on Dancing With The Stars as she joins Season 33.
Jenn , 26, was told she would be in the line-up just minutes after stepping off the stage following the live finale of The Bachelorette .

She has been paired with professional dancer, Sasha Farber, and will perform during the premiere on Tuesday, September 17.
Jenn admitted she’s a bag of nerves ahead of the first show in a chat with The U.S. Sun at the Dream In Gold Emmys After Party at LA Academy on Sunday night.
Jenn is coming fresh from her time on The Bachelorette and her breakup with ex-fiance, Devin Strader , who dumped her after winning the show.
She revealed she’s been rehearsing for a week but is not fully confident about performing yet as she’s not used to live TV.
Jenn said, “I have some much stage fright I don’t want to perform live, it’s not me.
“I’m not somebody who does well in front of a live audience.
“But I’m so excited and I know I’ll have the best time of my life.
“It’s not going to come easy to me, I don’t know how to dance, I’m so scared, but I know it will be so rewarding.”
I’m going to have to be on my best behavior.”

Asked to tease her first dance, she said, “It’s going to be very inspirational and very much in the moment of where I’m in right now [the recent break up]. Very on brand.
She continued, “The rehearsals are of course tiring, it’s a hefty schedule.
“But I really wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.”
Discussing how they have put together their first dance, she said, “We film it, we watch it, we change different things.
“I have to watch myself back and I’m like ‘Oh my God, I f***ed up, I look gross’. But no, everything has been amazing.”
“I’m going to have to be on my best behavior,” Jenn laughed.
The New Jersey native’s showbiz career is taking off, but she insists her life goals haven’t changed as she’s still focused on continuing her education.
“I’m doing Dancing With The Stars and then I’m going back to school studying to be a physician’s assistant,” she said.
“I’ve always been in the medical field, and I’ve worked my whole life to be a physician’s assistant, so I took a break from school to do The Bachelorette and this but I will be going back after this.

“It’s been one goal of mine. I had a purpose in life and that’s to help other people, and that’s something that I’m going to fulfill.”
The new DWTS lineup will also include reality TV star Phaedra Parks , former NFL player Danny Amendola, Bachelor star Joey Graziadei , and USA professional rugby player Ilona Maher.
Dances that will feature on the first episode of the season include the tango, cha cha, foxtrot, salsa, and jive.
Meanwhile, Jenn revealed her relationship status after fans speculated she was dating Bachelorette runner-up Jonathon Johnson .
The pair walked the red carpet at an event on September 13, and Jenn, 26, has also shared TikTok videos of them together.
She told The U.S. Sun: “I’m very much single at the minute.
“I’m enjoying my life, I’m taking a break from dating. I’m just focusing on myself for a while.”
Quizzed further on Jonathon, she added: “No comments on that. I’m just pouring my energy into myself. I have a lot going on at the moment.”
Season 33 of DWTS returns on September 17, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
