WWE Superstar Jey Uso is exploring the possibility of forming a new tag team, separate from his brother Jimmy Uso. The brothers, Jey and Jimmy, have long been key figures in WWE’s tag team division. The duo’s partnership began in 2009, and they have achieved significant success in the promotion over the years.

Together, they have held the WWE Tag Team Championship eight times. They have even set the record for the longest reign, holding the titles for 622 days. However, their relationship took a dramatic turn with The Bloodline, led by Roman Reigns.

In recent years, The Bloodline storyline became central to WWE programming, focusing on Reigns’ dominance and the internal conflicts within the faction. The feud between the brothers ignited at SummerSlam when Jimmy’s interference cost Jey his WWE Championship match against Roman Reigns.

Despite the challenging times in The Bloodline that eventually led to the brothers’ separation, Jey Uso had formed a unique and strong bond with another member of The Bloodline: the Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn. It seems Jey is now looking to form a tag team with Sami Zayn.

Former Bloodline member Jey Uso recently spoke with Metro.co.uk, where he expressed the idea of potentially forming a team with Sami Zayn. He reflected on their past collaboration, noting that despite their on-screen animosity, they shared a genuine bond backstage.

He stated, “I know we hated each other on screen, but we really love each other in the back, but it just came off on TV, so organically. You will have little glimpses of me and him on Raw but man, I really want to go like, full blown tag team with him and try to see how that goes. One of the most best times of my wrestling career was that Bloodline, with Sami Zayn.”

While Jey Uso has remained apart from Jimmy Uso for over a year, he has also achieved success by winning tag team gold with Cody Rhodes during this period. Despite this, fans still recall the compelling on-screen dynamics between Jey and Sami Zayn. Hence, it will now be exciting to see if WWE has plans to reunite these two in the future.
