Jalen Brunson is the next player in the line of New York Knicks point guards, and one of the players that came before him was Stephon Marbury.

The former Knick recently sat down with The Spun , and he reflected on his time with the team, saying that it was "one of the best experiences" from his lengthy playing career.

"It was one of the best experiences that I probably could have ever gained after coming back home, being applauded and being cheered," Marbury said. "As I said before, it's like your big brother can pick on you, but no one else can pick on you... I believe my relationship with the Knicks was rocky at a point. And now, we're soaring."

Marbury sometimes clashed with some of his teammates, as he was a very passionate player, but all is good between him and the Knicks organization.

In his five seasons with the Knicks, he averaged 18 points, seven assists, and a steal per game. The team was never able to finish with a winning record with Marbury, but he still left his impact on the franchise.

Marbury and the Knicks might not have seen eye-to-eye all the time, but there is no disputing that he is one of the better point guards they have had in recent memory.
