A new restaurant has opened in Cincinnati, Ohio

CINCINNATI, OH - A new restaurant has opened in the city's Avondale neighborhood.

Are you craving barbecue? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to check out Sweets & Meats BBQ, which recently opened a new restaurant in Cincinnati at 3440 Burnet Ave #100. According to the restaurant's social media account, Sweets & Meats BBQ celebrated its grand opening on September 12 (though the restaurant had its soft opening prior to that). Sweets & Meats BBQ started as a food truck before opening its new brick-and-mortar location.

The restaurant's menu includes items like slabs of ribs, brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, pulled chicken sandwiches, pork rib tips, smoked & fried chicken wings, chopped cheese, cheeseburgers, and all-beef hot dogs. If you don't eat meat, the restaurant also has Beyond veggie burgers.

Also on the menu are loaded fries, quesadillas, and BBQ 4-Way, which is baked mac & cheese that is loaded with coleslaw, BBQ sauce, and your choice of pulled pork or chicken. As for sides, the restaurant has options like mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, collard greens with smoked turkey, green beans with smoked turkey, baked beans, loaded potato salad, vinegar-based coleslaw, sweet cornbread, and French fries. If you have room for something sweet, the restaurant offers banana pudding and crunch cake.

If you want to try a couple of different things, the restaurant has packages like Anton's Sampler (which comes with a bun, a side of BBQ sauce, sliced brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, rib tips, and 2 sides of your choice for $34) and Willie Joe's Sampler, which comes with 6 pieces of cornbread, 6 buns, a side of BBQ sauce, a half-pound of sliced brisket, a half-pound of pulled pork, a half-pound of pulled chicken, a half-rack of ribs, 10 wings, and 6 sides of your choice for $114.

Have been a fan of Sweets & Meats food truck for awhile and now they have a restaurant! The food was delicious, service was on point and the restaurant is so well done! We had the pulled pork, mac & cheese, green beans, and cornbread and it was all so good! Can't wait to go back for the brisket!

The restaurant is open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 8 PM (or until sold out). It's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
