Huskers announce 2025 baseball schedule

The Nebraska baseball season is still several months away but, with fall training underway and a scrimmage set for this weekend, the club has revealed its full spring slate.

The Huskers have 25 home games at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park and 56 total regular-season games planned.

The schedule begins with a weekend event in Scottsdale, Arizona for the MLB Desert Invitational before the Big Red heads to Phoenix for a matchup with Grand Canyon. From there, the Huskers will play a three-game set on the road against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns before participating in the Frisco College Baseball Classic at the end of the month and into March.

Nebraska’s first home games are scheduled for early March. After a trip to Omaha on March 4, the Huskers are set to face South Dakota State the following day and then start Big Ten play against conference newcomer Washington from March 7-9.

Wichita State, who the Huskers are scrimmaging this Saturday, will visit Lincoln on March 11-12 before the Huskers head to California for an extended trip that features matchups with UCLA, USC and Pepperdine.

Other non-conference matchups for Nebraska in 2025 include Creighton, Oregon State, Kansas and Kansas State.

In addition to Washington, UCLA and USC, the Huskers will also face Rutgers, Northwestern, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan and Purdue in conference play.

The regular-season will wrap up the weekend of May 15-17, and the Big Ten Tournament will be played at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha for the eighth time and fourth consecutive year.
