LITTLE ROCK, Ark – A 10-year-old Louisiana girl is now home safe after a south Arkansas company helped make a crucial find, with all of it caught on camera.

The Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office said the 10-year-old was reported missing earlier in the day on Sunday and found around 11 p.m.

Drone video from Magnolia-based Drone Management Services shows the moment the girl was found in a wooded area near Sand Plant Road in Webster Parish in Louisiana.

Drone Management co-owner Josh Kolber said he got the call to help while in Arkansas and later that day he made it to Louisiana, got his drone up and eventually spotted the girl sleeping on the ground.

“I stayed on the south side of Sand Plant Road, and she was probably 200 yards down that road,” Kolber said. “She woke up, you can see her head snap back as soon as law enforcement officers get there and get her a bottle of water and got her checked out.”

He and the hundreds of volunteers are all joyful that the little girl is now reunited with her family.

“It was a desperate situation and whether somebody else found her or we found her, I’m just glad she was found,” Kolber said.
