Kelsea Ballerini Shares Heartwarming Tribute To Boyfriend Chase Stokes

Kelsea Ballerini shared a sweet tribute to her boyfriend, Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes , to celebrate his birthday on Monday (September 16).

Ballerini wrote in her caption on Instagram : “it’s my favorite humans birthday and there’s no one on the planet easier to celebrate. i adore you with my whole a** heart [Chase Stokes] 🤍.” Stokes, now 32, laughed at one of the videos included in Ballerini’s post as he replied, “I love you Ballerini ❤️.”

Stokes spoke about his relationship with the singer-songwriter in an interview with PEOPLE , including that they make a point to never go more than three weeks without spending time with one another. He said during that interview, “if we need to make the effort to show up when one's across the country, we do it.”

Stokes and Ballerini, who turned 31 on September 12 , began talking when Ballerini slid into Stokes’ DMs on Instagram in December 2022. Dating rumors started when Stokes posted a photo of the couple at the College Football Playoff National Championship in January 2023. Ballerini confirmed the new relationship in an interview the following month, and she credited Stokes with “making me write love songs” when she shared a one-year anniversary tribute earlier this year. Ballerini’s new album, Patterns , will arrive on October 25.
