Did You Know Post Malone’s $3 Million Utah Mansion Is Doomsday Proof?

The more you know. Post Malone might be in Nashville a lot these days chasing his country music dreams, but it might shock some fans to learn that Tennessee is not his permanent residence. Nor is it Los Angeles where the 29-year-old started in music, with his hit "White Iverson" quickly launching him into the limelight. While Post's net worth could have bought him a house anywhere in the nation, the Texas native opted for the mountainous region of Utah to purchase a mansion. Post Malone's house is unlike your typical celebrity crib; the nearly 13,000-square-foot home is a doomsday-proof shelter. Yes, you read that right. It's doomsday proof. The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home features many glass elements that are completely bulletproof, along with a state-of-the-art security system to keep him safe. Malone has spoken since the start of his career about how he is eerie of the government, which is why he chose to implement all of these security aspects into his home.
"Think there's going to be a lot of weird sh*t that happens within our lifetime and within our generation that really changes the way of the world..." Malone said in an older interview clip. He noted that "when the credit cards fail," the government is coming after you and when it's time to get out. He gave viewers the following advice, which embodies what his house is like now. "Move out to the country, get your scraps, stand up for yourself, build a tower, build a long road where you can see them coming. And don't give up." Whether or not Malone still embodies this way of thinking, he did in 2018 when he purchased the Cottonwood Heights home for $3.1 million. Although the house is equipped for when the "world ends," Malone does not hide out in fear. When Malone sat down with Joe Rogan in 2021, he described how peaceful it is outside the city and in the mountains.

“It’s incredible. It’s just like you’re a f***ing dot on the entire globe.

Without sounding corny, it’s like you feel like you’re a part of something bigger, but you’re so insignificant and then you can just say I accept everything around me. I’m relaxed, and I’m at peace.”

Peaceful is exactly what this property looks like. The expansive seven-acre property features an indoor/outdoor living feel with rock elements throughout the home, plenty of greenery, and floor-to-ceiling windows to showcase the property's natural beauty. The modern finishes throughout the home are sleek but still feel cozy, and the pool overlooking the mountain range is a picture-perfect scene.

The images of the home's interior show its appearance before Malone bought it, so there is a chance he could have renovated it by now. But it's a stunning property, even if it is untouched.

If the world ends anytime soon, I'll be booking it to Cottonwood Heights, hoping that Malone will let some of his fans into his bunker for safety.
