With training camp just over a week away, Brad Stevens and the Celtics are reportedly leaving no stone unturned when it comes to rounding out Boston’s roster.

According to Spotrac’s Keith Smith, the Celtics were one of four teams to hold a workout with veteran wing Nassir Little — with the 24-year-old swingman offering appeal as a versatile depth addition further down the depth chart.

Smith added that the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, and Sacramento Kings have also held workouts with Little, who has logged five NBA seasons split between the Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns.

Little averaged 10.2 minutes per game over 45 appearances with the Suns last season, averaging 3.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.5 assists over that stretch. Phoenix waived Little last month, making the former 2019 first-round pick (No. 25 overall) a free agent.

Over the span of his career, Little has averaged 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 45.2 percent form the field and 33 percent from 3-point range.

Even with his uneven offensive production, Little’s versatility, athleticism and defensive skills could make him an intriguing option for a Celtics team that already has 14 players on fully guaranteed deals entering camp.

If Boston opts to bring in Little on a non-guaranteed contract, he’ll likely need to compete with fellow veteran Lonnie Walker IV for a spot on the roster.
