Chiquibaby Asks ‘Madam President’ Kamala Harris About Trump Assassination Bid: ‘What Are Your Thoughts On Political Violence?’

Radio host Stephanie “Chiquibaby” Himonidis asked “Madam President” Kamala Harris to weigh in on political violence in the wake of a foiled assassination plot against former President Donald Trump .

On Tuesday’s edition of Nueva Network’s Chiquibaby Show , the host rolled out a pre-taped interview with the vice president, introducing Harris as “the first African-American, and Asian woman to be vice president of the United States and soon, hopefully, president.”

Later in the interview, Chiquibaby addressed the VP as “Madam President” when she asked about political violence as it relates to the latest incident involving a plan to assassinate Trump:

“CHIQUIBABY” STEPHANIE HIMONIDIS: Madam President, we know that you said that you are thankful that Mr. Donald Trump is okay after the second apparent assassination attempt.

What are your thoughts on political violence in the U.S., and more now than ever?

VP KAMALA HARRIS: Well, I was briefed immediately after it happened yesterday. And I have to tell you, political violence of any kind is unacceptable. And I strongly condemn it.

And like all Americans, I’m grateful that he is okay. But we all have to stand up and say, enough of this! This kind of approach. We have to have civil dialogue and discourse. We have to be able to talk through our differences. And violence has no place.

“CHIQUIBABY” STEPHANIE HIMONIDIS: And more than now, we don’t want division.

Shots were fired at Trump International golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, Sunday afternoon in what turned out to be a failed assassination plot allegedly carried out by suspect Ryan Wesley Routh , who is in custody. The suspect fired no shots and never had a line of sight to Trump.

Sunday’s incident occurred two months, almost to the day after the July 13 assassination attempt that left Trump bloodied and a supporter dead.
