Niece of softball great Jennie Finch commits to Oklahoma

Oklahoma is getting a boost to their softball program with the commitment of Malaya Majam-Finch. Malaya is the niece of softball legend Jennie Finch.

Finch made the announcement on Instagram saying, “I am extremely grateful to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Oklahoma to continue my academic and softball career!! I want to thank all my family, friends and teammates, who always believed in me from the start; more specifically, my dad, mom, and grandparents. You push me everyday to be the best version of myself, and I am forever grateful for your unwavering sacrifice and support. To the Tyson family, the CA program would be nothing without you. To Coach Marty, Coach Lydell, and all my Corona Angel coaches, you have shaped me to be tough and understand what it feels like to be part of something bigger than myself. I love you all so so much. Lastly, to the OU staff, thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity to be a part of your family. I am beyond excited!! BOOMER SOONER !!”
