This Baby Hippo Is Going Viral For All The Right Reasons

If your timeline isn't full of images of Moo Deng, the 2-month-old pygmy hippopotamus at Thailand’s Khao Kheow Open Zoo, then allow me to introduce you.

Her name means “bouncy pig,” and ever since the zoo started sharing videos and images of Moo Deng lounging, biting her handlers with her toothless gums, bouncing her rolls, and generally appearing damp at all times, she's become a viral celebrity.

Posts calling Moo Deng a "lifestyle icon" — for the aforementioned and envied sleeping, eating, and chomping — as well as the "most beautiful girl in the world" have racked up millions upon millions of views.

She's reached such a level of stardom that the Khao Kheow Open Zoo reports a notable increase in crowds since her birth.

“The moment I saw Moo-Deng born, I set a goal to make her famous, but I never expected it would spread abroad,” zookeeper Atthapon Nundee told the Guardian .
