Puggle Puppy's Dramatic Pawing at the Door For Dad's Pizza Crust Has Everyone Laughing

Begging is not good. It's one of the main things that people who don't like dogs don't like about dogs, and it's one of the main things that people who do like dogs spend time trying to stop. It's annoying, unsanitary, and sometimes even dangerous.

That won't stop them from trying, though. On Sunday, September 15th, one Puggle puppy got put outside so he'd quit begging. They did not take into account, though, that it was pizza night and he'd stop at nothing to get to his dad's crust:

If Frank the Puggle has no fans, someone come check on me. A dog this cute will have my heart forever!

This was the first video Frank's humans posted on TikTok, and it's already official: he's a star! His very first video got nearly half a million views, and for good reason. Not only is he adorable, but his commitment to getting his paws on some pizza crust is truly admirable.

When he's not busy begging for crust, he can be found begging for belly rubs instead. His mom says he makes an excellent security guard... unless the intruder happens to possess a Slim Jim. Then they may enter at will and possibly stay forever, depending on how many they have in their pockets!

    Can Dogs Eat Pizza?

While we should never give in to begging, some people can't help it and other people don't mind. If you're one of those people, that is your journey, but you should still be careful about what you feed to your dog.

Feeding pizza to dogs is not recommended : there is literally nothing on pizza that's really good for them. The crust can cause constipation and bloating, especially since most pizza crust is made of "white" bread dough that's usually pretty low in fiber. Pizza crust is also usually drenched in garlic butter, which is delicious but terrible for everybody.

If you're dead-set on giving your dog a little bit of your pizza, you can tear off a little piece of the crust and rinse it off. You could also give them a little bit of the cheese, though that's not advisable either, since there's sauce on it and pizza sauce is also famously garlicky, and garlic can upset their tummies and even be toxic in large quantities.

There are dog-safe alternatives you can give them if you want them to feel included at dinner, which might even help to curb begging! For a dog-safe "pizza" alternative, you'll just need:

    1. Homemade dog-safe dough
    2. If you're too lazy for that, a couple of crackers or even a plain rice cake work fine.
    3. Some kind of a "sauce," like pureed pumpkin.
    4. Some shredded cheese.

Frank almost certainly got at least a tiny piece of pizza crust after this video, and that's alright. His parents know how to keep him safe!
