Will Alex Cora face suspension for admitting Red Sox threw at Yankees' Aaron Judge?

Over the weekend, the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees battled in a four-game series at Yankee Stadium with New York taking three of the four matchups.

Boston's lone win came on Saturday while their team was fired up over Yankees starter Gerrit Cole hitting Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers with a pitch and then intentionally walking him in their next battle.

After that victory, Red Sox manager Alex Cora was upset that Cole hit Devers and explained that he thought it was intentional, especially after the intentional walk. Cora went on to say how his team doesn't throw at people, especially stars, because it could cause an injury, and he wants the best players to be healthy.

Not even a day later, Cora admitted that Red Sox starter Brayan Bello tried to get revenge by throwing at Aaron Judge in the sixth inning of Saturday's game, which led to an MLB investigation into the comments with a possible punishment looming for Cora and the Red Sox.

However, on Tuesday, MassLive's Chris Cotillo reported that has decided not to discipline Cora for comments after the investigation and interviewing Cora.

Boston and Cora, himself, have been in trouble with the MLB in recent years, so it's a bit surprising that they weren't harsher on them, but it looks like the Red Sox got away with this one. Hopefully, they'll learn a lesson not to throw at opposing players, or at the very least, not to talk about a failed attempt to do so after making such a big stink about it a day earlier.
