It’s hard to believe that a whole year has gone by since Days of Our Lives star Brandon Barash (Stefan) and his wife, Isabella, welcomed their sweet little boy into the world on Sept. 15, 2023! And that means that the couple got to throw a birthday bash for Joaquin Lee to celebrate the milestone!

Both Barash and his wife shared photos from the teddy bear-themed first birthday party on Instagram, along with a special message for their young son. “Joaquin Lee, you turned one on Sunday. As you journey from infant to toddler, I continue my evolution from boy to man…hope it never ends,” the DAYS star captioned a carousel of photos. “I look at you, and I see love’s fruition — the manifestation of passion beyond multiple generations that resulted in your existence, Baby Boy. An existence that has made life infinitely more abundant as our family becomes wealthy with life’s most vital currency — your intoxicating love and infectious joy. I look forward to watching your journey from infant to toddler to boy to adolescent to man, and my god, may I be blessed enough to see you pass this on to your children… and them to their children. I love you beyond comprehension, JLB. Happy Birthday.”

The little guy got two teeth just in time for birthday cake! “You are pure light and unadulterated joy, my angel,” Isa wrote to her son. “Every single person that is lucky enough to be in your presence feels the deepness of your soul and the intensity of your happiness and love. Your smile is infectious and can make all the bad disappear in the blink of an eye.”

Big sister Harper helped Joaquin make a mess out of his smash cake.

After the birthday boy got cleaned up, the family posed for pictures in front of the focal point of the party’s dessert spread: a yummy layer cake covered in light blue fondant, decorated with white stars and topped with an adorable teddy bear.

Joaquin’s parents shared a sweet treat, Lady and the Tramp style! “we did it, my love!” Isa wrote. “We made it through the first year. I love you beyond words and couldn’t be luckier to have you as our boy’s daddy and the best partner I could ask for in this life.”

The family coordinated their outfits to keep with the party’s neutral color scheme. “How did I become so lucky?” Barash commented on his wife’s post. “I love you and our lil’ family to smithereens.”
