KIMMSWICK, Mo. (KMOX) - Police in the tranquil city of Kimmswick, Missouri, which is home of the ever-popular Apple Butter Festival, are investigating a shooting that took place Monday night.

Kimmswick Police Chief Steve Davore says shell casings were found in the parking lot at the port of Kimmswick. He knows an argument took place but says no victim has come forward.

A camera captured a red car believed to be connected with the shooting leaving town. Witnesses were also able to identify the car.

Windsor School went on lockdown Monday when they were alerted of the shooting.
