There are plenty of reasons why Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is a fan-favorite player, from his skills on the field to his kind interactions with kids who look up to him.

Then, of course, there are Mahomes' entertaining "mic'd up" moments, which broadcast the athlete's unfiltered thoughts during games, never failing to entertain in the process.

To celebrate Mahomes' 29th birthday on Sept. 17, the Chiefs shared a video montage to Instagram featuring some of his classic moments on the mic, and fans can't get enough.

In the clip, Mahomes provided a stream-of-consciousness commentary—but not always in complete sentences. Sometimes the NFL pro kept his narration to a single word ("dime," "dot," "dodge," "boop"). Other times, he contemplated various questions and truths: "Should I just start talking about random stuff?" and "I think I'm a snow game guy."

"Our gift to you on Patrick’s birthday? Some of his best mic’d up moments 🎁," read the post's caption.

Fans took to the comment section to rave about Mahomes.

"I have never 'loved' a player but this guy….this guy is gold. Everything about him is gold," wrote one person.

"I just love Patrick he is the coolest thing❤️," agreed another commenter.

"Happiest Birthday to our King ❤️💛 we love you @patrickmahomes," wrote a third Instagram user.

Mahomes celebrated turning another year older with a big birthday bash at his home—attended by Taylor Swift —on Sunday, Sept. 15. Earlier that evening, he led the Chiefs to a surprising last-minute victory against the Cincinnati Bengals.
