Angel Reese's Classy Move Will Make Fans Love Her Even More

The Chicago Sky are in the middle of a tightly contested battle for the final spot in the 2024 WNBA Playoffs with the Washington Mystics, as both teams have a 13-25 record heading into play on Tuesday.

The issue for the Sky is that they have already lost one of their best players in Angel Reese for the rest of the season after she underwent surgery to repair a fracture in her wrist.

Even though Reese's rookie season came to a premature conclusion, it's safe to say she put together a very strong campaign for the Sky (13.6 PPG, 13.1 RPG, 1.9 APG, 39.1 FG%). And while she won't be on the court for the Sky, that didn't stop Reese from joining her team on the road for their big clash against the Atlanta Dream.

Reese could have opted to stay back in Chicago and focus on healing from her surgery, but instead, she has decided to stay with the team as they attempt to find their way into the playoffs.

Reese already has quite a rabid fanbase, but folks will surely appreciate her even more after they see her being a standup teammate amid the Sky's playoff push.

While she won't be contributing on the court, expect Reese to be active on the sidelines for Chicago in an effort to encourage her teammates to do what it takes to walk off the court with a win in their pocket.

That’s nice that she stays with her team. However when the writer mentioned she could’ve stayed home and focus on getting better, (my words), give me a break, pardon the pun, she had a hairline fracture, which doesn’t mean she can’t do anything else! Wish them luck but it’s obvious they really don’t care at this point, as they’re looking for top draft picks.
