Few around the NBA find themselves victim to insults as much as Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.

The latest jab comes from Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, who clowned Gobert for an altercation with Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid during the 2024 Paris Olympics. In the gold medal matchup between the United States and France, Embiid was standing over top Gobert as the Wolves big man proceeded to put his head between his legs.

"You don't think I'm right [about my opinion on Gobert]? Look at this play right here," O'Neal said on The OGs Show with Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller . "Why, when somebody pushes you down [then] you fall [and] you grab their knees and put your head between their legs. What the [expletive] is that? Take your foot and put it right in his stomach. Do something like c'mon bro, and then again, you [are] the Defensive Player of the Year, but every scouting report I'm looking at, they're targeting you."

This is far from the first time O'Neal took a shot at Gobert, making numerous remarks about his lack of defensive prowess as a four-time DPOY . The comment section was flooded with acknowledgement of the five-time champion's "obsession" with mocking Gobert.

Haslem, the long-time Heat forward and three-time NBA champion, agreed with O'Neal's take on the situation.

"That was weird," Haslem added. "I ain't understand that either. Both of us coming down, I'll tackle yo [expletive], and all of us rolling on the ground."
