David Pollack Names College Football Powerhouse That's A 'Dumpster Fire'

College football podcast host David Pollack recently discussed the current state of the sport with co-host Brent Rollins.

While Pollack was confident in a couple of teams competing for the College Football Playoff after strong starts to the year, he didn't seem too pleased with a preseason Top 10 program.

The former ESPN analyst hasn't been impressed with the Florida State Seminoles. Following their Week 3 loss to the Memphis Tigers, Pollack believes Mike Norvell and the staff might as well focus on the future.

He thinks the Seminoles should be working with their high school recruits and looking to see what they can build for next season since right now, he's stamping Florida State as a "dumpster fire."

"Have you seen enough from DJU?" Pollack said. "I can’t win, I can’t get to a bowl. Let me get the young guys ready. Let me find out what I have and continue to develop some of these cats that are high school recruits… Let me work the meshing process together because, gah-lee is it a dumpster fire in Tallahassee."

The Seminoles came into the year as the No. 10 team in the nation and have since lost to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Boston College Eagles, and Memphis Tigers.

FSU was favored in each of those matchups, but couldn't get the job done. They are now 0-3 for the second time in the Mike Norvell era.

The road doesn't get much easier for the Seminoles since they'll head into the tougher part of their schedule based on rankings and talent. They're set to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Miami Hurricanes, and Louisville Cardinals later on this season.

Florida State's issues haven't just lied in the quarterback room with DJ Uiagalelei. Their wide receiver room has been one of the worst in the ACC and the trenches on both ends have been bullied all year.

FSU will have a chance to secure their first win of the season in Week 4 when they face off against the California Golden Bears on Sept. 21.
