    GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

    Appleton East 3, Oshkosh North 0

    APPLETON - The Patriots swept the Spartans 25-23, 25-15, 25-15 to win the Fox Valley Association match.

    Appleton East improves to 1-2 in the FVA with the win.

    “Our passing wasn’t as consistent tonight but our hitters utilized a variety of attacks and were able to convert. We served aggressive and were able to control their offense from the service line. It was a good win for us,” East coach Jill Wockenfus said.

    Zoe Wockenfus had 13 kills, 17 digs and four aces for East. Elizabeth Jacobs added nine kills and three blocks, and Opal Sparkman had 22 assists.

    Kimberly 3, Appleton West 0

    KIMBERLY - The Papermakers defeated the Terrors 25-9, 25-16, 25-11 in a Fox Valley Association match.

    Kimberly’s Ava Van Vonderen and Harper Van Lannen both had a team-high six kills. Finley Van Lannen had 13 digs, while Brie Lamers had 12. Emma Tesch and Ava Van Hammond had 17 and 15 assists, respectively. Lamers and Ava Van Camp each had four aces.

    “Proud of how our group served and passed tonight,” Kimberly coach Carrie Raminger said. “It was nice to see the setters spread our offense and get a lot of players going offensively.”

    Kaukauna 3, Neenah 2

    KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts defeated the Rockets 23-25, 25-8, 25-19, 22-25, 15-11 in a Fox Valley Association matchup.

    Madison Tripp had a double-double for Kaukauna with 31 assists and 13 digs. She also had nine kills.

    Bow Kaschner had 19 digs, while Delaney Ward had a team-high 11 kills. Claire Gerrits added nine kills, Hailey Kobussen had seven kills, Ashlynn Vande Voort had six kills and Nyah Dvorak had eight digs.

    Oshkosh West 3, Appleton North 2

    APPLETON - The Wildcats beat the Lightning 15-12 in the decisive fifth set to win the Fox Valley Association match.

    Appleton North won the first set 25-21, Oshkosh West won the next two 25-17 and 25-19, then the Lightning won 25-21 to set up the fifth set.

    Sydnee Nelson had 21 kills for Oshkosh West. MaKaelyn Clark had 41 assists and Elaina Butz had 17 digs.

    Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Little Chute 0

    LITTLE CHUTE - The Foxes swept the Mustangs 25-13, 25-15, 25-11 in a North Eastern Conference match.

    Amara Jahner had 23 digs for Fox Valley Lutheran. Molly Bixby and Ava Patchett had 13 and 12 assists, respectively. Sophie Wunderlich had a team-high eight kills. Alaina Patchett and Hannah Uhlenbrauck both had six kills.

    Oconto Falls 3, Wrightstown 0

    OCONTO FALLS - The Panthers started strong and cruised to the 25-15, 25-16, 25-21 victory.

    Izzy Otto led the offense with 38 assists and three aces. Lucy Ripley had 16 kills. Amber Otto had 11 kills, 11 digs and three aces. Katelyn Kurek added 11 digs and four kills.

    Oconto Falls is 13-6 overall and 3-0 in the North Eastern Conference, while Wrightstown falls to 7-14 and 1-2.

    Luxemburg-Casco 3, Clintonville 0

    CLINTONVILLE - The Spartans defeated the Truckers 25-9, 25-15, 25-6 to improve to 3-0 in the North Eastern Conference and 13-3 overall.

    “It was a good night, always great to get a run on the road,” Luxemburg-Casco coach Jeff Frey said. “I thought besides a small stretch in set two, we were really focused and played with a lot of energy.”

    Alayna Deprez led Luxemburg-Casco with 32 assists. Ella Vander Veldern had 12 kills. Aubrey Frey had 10 kills. Rylan Kaminski had a team-leading nine digs, and Campbell Onell had seven kills and five aces.

    BOYS VOLLEYBALL

    Kimberly 3, Appleton North 0

    KIMBERLY - The fifth-ranked Papermakers held off the ninth-ranked Lightning 25-21, 25-21, 25-19 in Fox Valley Association action.

    Leading Kimberly was Owen Krause with 12 kills, 10 digs, two aces and two blocks. Blake Zielinski added 42 assists and nine digs, Michael Janssen had 10 kills, Jack Hruzek had 15 digs, Tyler Haase had seven kills, and Nick Sroda added 11 kills and two blocks.

    Leading the way for North were Nathan Ramus with 15 kills, Rowan Cihlar with seven kills, Owen Tierney with four kills and Spencer Munson with 29 assists.

    Neenah 3, Green Bay Notre Dame 0

    NEENAH - Miles Weaver had 13 kills and eight digs for the Rockets as they swept the Tritons 25-19, 25-15, 25-16 in a Fox Valley Association match.

    Ben Donaldson added six kills and five blocks, and Cam Diekfuss had 30 assists for Neenah.

    Kimberly 2, Neenah 2

    KIMBERLY - The Rockets scored the tying goal at the 52:31 mark as the teams fought to a draw.

    After Neenah had taken a 1-0 lead at the 6:15 mark, the game stayed that way until the waning moments of the first half.

    Joel Colvin scored at the 43:52 mark to send the game to halftime tied at 1-1.

    Kimberly’s Owen Weidert opened the second half, scoring on a penalty shot at 47:26 for a 2-1 advantage.

    The Papermakers had seven shots on goal, while the Rockets had four.

    Noah Sommer made four saves in net for Kimberly, while Neenah made five saves.

    Hortonville 4, Fond du Lac 0

    FOND DU LAC - The Polar Bears scored four second-half goals to upend the Cardinals in a Fox Valley Association matchup.

    Noah Rindt, Anthony Zanon, Henry Whisler and Roman Glad scored goals for Hortonville, while Zanon, Elliot Vedder and Cade Mansfield added assists.

    Grant Decker made two saves in net for the Polar Bears.

    Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Clintonville 3

    CLINTONVILLE - Kaleb Williams scored a pair of goals and Emiliano Guzman added a goal as the Foxes tied the Truckers.

    Ezra Schaser and Marti Hostalot Heredia added assists for FVL.

    The game was tied 2-2 at halftime.

    Keaton Enter made one save in net for the Foxes.
