    Morken eclipses 4,000 career assists as Mabel-Canton wins 20th straight

    Mabel-Canton pushes past Houston in girls volleyball matchup

    The Mabel-Canton Cougars hosted the Houston Hurricanes for an MSHSL Southeast conference volleyball matchup.

    The Cougars entered the match as the top team in division 1A and 19-0 on the season.

    During the second point of the match, Sahara Morken would set Kinley Soiney for a kill. With that, Morken would eclipse 4,000 career assists becoming just the 11th Minnesota high schooler to do so.

    Morken was presented a special ball by her coach and father, Lonnie Morken as the gym erupted excitement and joy.

    Mabel-Canton would go on to win the match, 3-0 as they improve to 20-0 on the season.
