Tommy Cash started his adult life in a selfless way—serving his country with the US Army. After that, he pursued music professionally. Cash signed a record with Musicor Records in 1965 and would sign additional record deals and create some amazing hits. Most notably are his biggest hits like “One Song Away, Rise and Shine, and Six White Horses.” Most notably, “Six White Horses” reached No. 4 on the country charts. The song was a moving tribute to John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr.
Most of his biggest hits occurred in the 1960s, but he did perform with his brother on Johnny Cash’s song “Guess Things Happen That Way” in 1990. The Younger Cash was touring and performing music until 2023, when his health no longer allowed him to do so. Besides singing, he was on the silver screen for the film The River Thiefin 2016. Tommy Cash was also an accomplished realtor and a loving husband.
