Buy Dutch Bros on this day to help out kids in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Customers who visit Dutch Bros in Dinuba or Visalia this Friday will be able to enjoy a drink and simultaneously help out Tulare County children.

According to deputies, the chain’s drive-thrus will donate $1 from every drink sold on Sept. 20 to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office’s Police Activities League (TCSO PAL) .

Officers say the money raised will help pay for the children’s sports program, mentoring, a camping trip to the beach, a day at the Tulare County Fair, a holiday party, and a Winter Wonderland.

“By supporting our youth development program, you will be supporting programs for kids that bring the whole community together,” Sheriff Boudreaux said.

According to the program’s website, TCSO PAL was established in 1993 to combat juvenile delinquency, violence, and gang involvement. The program strives to create safer communities by fostering positive bonds between law enforcement, youth, and their communities through mentorship opportunities, sports and recreational activities, and life-enriching youth programs.
