Despite Lynch’s efforts, Morgan retained her title after outside interference from Dominik Mysterio, The Judgment Day, and Braun Strowman.

During the match, Mysterio cost Lynch the match when Strowman knocked him into the steel cage door, slamming it into Lynch’s face. This interference allowed Liv Morgan to secure the victory. After the defeat, Lynch posted a cryptic message on Instagram, fueling fan speculation about her potential retirement.

Reports soon revealed that Lynch’s WWE contract was set to expire in June and negotiations for a new deal had not been finalized. Since her contract expired, she has taken an extended leave of absence from WWE.
