Man riding e-bike killed in North Tonawanda crash

North Tonawanda, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 58-year-old man from Jamestown was killed Monday when he was struck by a vehicle while riding an e-bike in the City of North Tonawanda.

The crash took place Monday at 11:25 a.m. ET in the area of Twin City Memorial Highway and Tremont Street. The e-bike rider was heading East on Tremont Street when police say he failed to yield the right of way to an SUV traveling South on Twin City and was struck by the SUV.

The e-bike rider, 58-year-old Terry Crick, was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he later died.

The driver of the SUV is not being charged.
