Rays honor Tre’ Morgan, Ian Seymour as top minor-leaguers

ST. PETERSBURG — First baseman Tre’ Morgan was named the Rays minor-league player of the year, Ian Seymour the top pitcher.

Morgan, a 2023 third-round pick from LSU, hit his way through three levels this season, from Class A Charleston to High A Bowling Green to Double-A Montgomery, posting a .324
